1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account we may collect your name, email address, and profile data from Google or Apple authentication.

Usage Data

We collect information about how users interact with the platform, including games viewed, playable demos opened, scrolling and engagement behavior, and wishlist and saved games. This data helps us improve game discovery.

Device Information

We may collect device type, operating system, app version, and device identifiers.

Location (optional)

If you turn on "Offers near you", the app reads your device's location while you are using it, to show offers from places near you. Your coordinates are sent only with the requests that need them, used to check whether you are inside an offer's area, and then discarded; we do not store them. We keep a record that an area offer was shown to your account (not your coordinates) so we can limit how often you see it. We also use your IP address to work out your country. You can turn location off at any time in the app's Settings or your phone's settings.

Developer Information

Developers may provide contact information, company or studio name, game metadata, uploaded game files, trailers, and media.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected data to operate the PlinkPlay platform, personalize game recommendations, improve game discovery algorithms, analyze platform performance, provide analytics to developers, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal requirements. We do not sell personal information.

3. Personalization

PlinkPlay may use behavioral signals to personalize the user experience. Examples include games viewed, interaction time, and categories of interest. This helps deliver better game recommendations.

4. Sponsored Content and Measurement

PlinkPlay shows sponsored cards from brands and businesses, always labelled "Sponsored". We choose which sponsored cards to show using your country (from your IP address), your area if you turned on "Offers near you", and how often you have already seen them. We do not share your personal information or location with sponsors; they only receive totals such as views, taps and plays.

We use Google Firebase (analytics, crash reports and notifications) and Meta App Events to measure app installs and the results of our own marketing. These services may receive device identifiers, including your device's advertising identifier where your device allows it. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

5. Data Sharing

We may share data with service providers that help operate the platform such as cloud infrastructure providers, analytics and measurement services (see section 4), and hosting providers. These providers only process data on our behalf.

6. Data Security

We implement security measures including access controls, encrypted connections, and secure infrastructure. However, no internet transmission is completely secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain data as long as necessary to provide our services. Inactive accounts may be removed after extended periods.

8. User Rights

Users may request access to their data, request correction of inaccurate data, and request deletion of their account and associated data. Requests can be submitted through account settings or by contacting support.

9. Developer Data

Developers retain ownership of uploaded game content. Developers may request removal of their games or accounts at any time.

10. Children's Privacy

PlinkPlay is not intended for children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Services

PlinkPlay may include links to third-party platforms such as app stores. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be reflected by the "Last updated" date.
